So today was the first day since begin this exercise that I became a little lost for ideas. It got to the evening and still nothing came to me. So while sitting in my workroom thinking some more about what to shoot and drank a can of Shandy – hence today’s photo.
The image offers little in terms of being inspired by other photographers, but it does put me in mind of Roland Barthes essay on Rhetoric of The Image and I wondered about the coded iconic message the Tesco marketing people put into the typeface, graphics and colours of this product and how my choice of approach changes them.
