Today’s image could have been presented in two ways. The image below is a photo of a digital picture I created yesterday. I was just thinking about the journey I had been on with my photography and how I had arrived at a place never envisaged. Hence the arrows in all different directions.
I hope my Masters will continue with this trend and that in July 2016 I will be in a place (awareness, insights, interests) that I can’t fully see now. But back to this image…
If I had presented the image here as a digital picture I would have crossed a Rubicon. It would not have been a photo and so not an authentic part of this photo a day series. So I photographed it and developed the image further today. I suppose that is one of the fundamental differences between the approach to the degree I have just completed and the one beginning in September. The former was a photography degree whereas the latter is a study of digital arts.
PS – I bleed a lot again last night – for a full 20 minutes. Maybe the directions to arrows represent are nothing to do with my studies …
