A photo a day – warm and cold tones

I had a wonderful day today. I read lots about my upcoming MA, viewed other current students blogs and work and then wandered around the block.

I noticed that most of the Cherry blossom has fallen now. But the petals populate the road and pathway and beautify them – until the rain sweeps them away. Indeed the petals, along with the growing and greening of the suburban foliage made me feel good. So this image below is today’s photo of the day because it both helps me feel good as well as reflecting that state.

It’s funny but only moments before taking the photo above I shot this below of Beckenham Odeon, High Street and War Memorial. Doesn’t it look bare and cold.  I few days ago I might have selected that image as my photo over the one above given my mood; but not today. 🙂

  1. I very nearly commented yesterday that your mood seemed to have lightened, but this picture with the pink carpet confirmed it! Amazing how much of that I can see just by viewing your photos, even without the words.
