A photo a day – Easter Sunday

As I went to the paper shop to get the Sunday paper the bells of St George’s church were pealing away and the street covered in fallen Cherry blossom. It seemed to me as though there was a continuity in the situation that had begun here over eight hundred years ago.

I am not a believer  – science is my god. But I respect other’s right to hold such views (as long as they respect my viewpoint and don’t try to evangelise).

I can’t really shoot anything faintly religious without thinking of Andreas Serrano’s fantastic religiously themes imagery (link). The issue is not whether you like or agree with his art of not, it just gets you thinking.
