This photo shows the new deepwater London Gateway Container Port (link). The photo is taken from the nearest publically accessible vantage point – Thurrock Thameside Nature Park. The new port is one of a few in the world that will be able to accommodate the largest ships in the world like the Maersk (link).
I find projects like this very exciting and would love to be able to visit the port. Unfortunately they do not allow this.
