A photo a day – changing outlooks

As mum and dad get older their interest in gardening has not only stayed with them, but flourished and grown along with their horticultural knowledge. Yet their advancing years mean that they can’t physically achieve all that they want now, and so it was with some sorrow that dad gave up using the greenhouse some years ago.

The greenhouse was left standing  for some years and seemed to me to be an unwanted visual reminder of decline.

So I was really pleased when my parents arranged for the greenhouse to be dismantled and removed. Since then they have spend some time remodelling the patch of garden it stood on and now the outlook is much more positive.
