A card was put through my door today. My dear mum had taken the trouble to buy, write and bring around a card for me while tomorrow she will be finding out whether her Ovarian cancer is treatable and to what cost.
This image aims to resonate with another very recent photo I took and shown here (Link) where mum’s friend had sent her a nice note and flowers. However instead of colour popping the image I selected all of the image save for the card and de-saturated it a little, then selected the card and increasing its saturation a little. The effect aims to be more subtle than the earlier version – hence the wider angle also.
