A photo a day – into the unknown

My parents popped in so Karen could set mum’s Ipad up with Spotify (link) so she can stream music when having chemotherapy. While Karen sorted that out dad and I sat in the back garden chatting until they joined us. Therefore I fully expected today’s photo to be of my parents in the garden with or without Karen. But this is not the case.

This image is much more apt. Today it’s hot and there isn’t a cloud in the sky. As we chatted mum’s cancer hardly featured: she looked well and we talked about the garden mostly. In the background I could hear a lot: the trees talking to each other through their leaves rustling; the trains and cars going by, while overhead aeroplanes made their presence known.

It seems as though everyone is on a journey.
