Isn’t it interesting how the frame can impose order an general situations. Take this image I shot of a truck.
The framing has drawn out a clear Gestalt within the image. When I shot this it reminded me of a discussion currently taking place on Flickr about Stephen Shore’s The Nature of Photographs (link). I would classify the image above as formal – its much less a window the world and much more an abject in its own right created out of the chaos of reality.
