A photo a day – Herne Bay

The weather was good today so instead of doing our usual Monday chores we drove to Herne Bay in North Kent to enjoy the weather. It’s a pretty little traditional seaside town – a bit dilapidated and tucked out the way – and so I haven’t bothered to show a documentary image of it as there isn’t much point as you can Google it. But at the end of a little causeway there was an iron viewing platform that made for some interesting compositions. I have chosen to make a spectacle of it.

The day and good weather acted as a real antidote to the long dark evenings.

I always think a trip to look at some water helps reflection especially if it is tidal…and I really love this image.I simply enjoy it.
