With just over two weeks to go before Christmas arrives we drove to a local Garden Centre to look at Christmas trees. Glitz, fantasy and avarice appeared to have replaced any notions of The Father, Son and Holy Ghost though, with hordes of shoppers double parking and fighting over goods that would be thrown away and forgotten in a month from now.
In fact I don’t think we saw anything remotely relating to gardening, or seasonal good will, but if you wanted to eat until you burst, put the toddlers in a bouncy playpen for an hour or buy anything to do with the fantasy version of Christmas as apposed to the religious one, you could.
Only two weeks……… then just one more to go to January. What I can’t understand is why Christmas seems to come around so quickly! That’s a cleve snow effect you have there.

Thanks. Are you fully settled from the home move and is your hubby recovered from his un-wellness or still poorly?

Yes – we do feel well-settled and happy here and hubby is stable now he’s on the right medication. He just has to remember that, in any case, he isn’t as young as he used to be!
