I like working with still images because they invite reflection and contemplation – take this photo below. What does it say to you?
For me it speaks about separateness, lack of engagement with people, colour and vibrancy, institutions and their world built for people whose needs have been decided for them.
But I also like the image for its purely graphic qualities – colour and form.
