I received an email from SUARTs today alerting me to this opportunity to exhibit my work. As I am closest to Project 6: A Picture of Health I decided to submit that.
Here is what I said to the panel about the work.
About your work
My focus is on exploring the nature of the representation of illness, impairment and disability through digital imagery. A Picture of Health speaks about art, and paralysis and health, without the conventional visual references to the subject via the body.
Additional Information
The work was made by taking photos of urine bags over a week. The aim was to create a work that had an attractive aesthetic while speaking about something I live with on a daily basis.

How will this opportunity help you to develop your career?
If selected the opportunity will work as a platform that will help me increase my work’s profile and get it more widely know and so, in turn offer me more opportunities to promote a visual discourse on the subject of illness, impairment and disability.
Now it’s just a case of wait and see….
