I visited dad yesterday. He was asleep when I arrived and so I look this snap.
He sleeps propped up because of an old operation for cancer of the oesophagus that means he gets a problem called reflux if he lies down completely. Anyway I woke him up and took the micky our of his socks and non slip slippers and generally mucked about for two ours.
He’s slowly getting better but in quite good spirits.
We lost all downstairs electricity power to the sockets yesterday evening. I reckon this is because we are using electric heaters while our central heating is down and so we overloaded the circuit.
Life just keeps on giving ….

That’s a very fine pair of socks! Pleased to know your dad is in good spirits. Hope yur heating soon gets sorted – it’s been so cold these last few days.

That’s Catherine. Dad’s up and down – weepy one minute and okay the next. The Central Heating should be sorted today…(ye right!)
