I have continued to experiment with the approach of offering viewers images of existing signs next to ones imagined by me. In this first diptych below I have continued to play with existing and imaged signs but have included a label with each picture. I don’t think the labelling really adds anything – in fact it distracts and muddles because both labels are both bad and good – but the point of the photo is to indicate how symbols bring associated values along with them. So I removed the labels in the second set of images and think the creation works better for it.
