A black day remembered

On this day last year my late mum received the devastating news that she had Perineal Ovarian cancer.  Little did we know then that she would only live for a further 55 days.

I am very sorry for your loss. These two wonderful pictures suggest so much joy and character. I am sure you miss her very much.

Thanks Eileen. I shouldn’t be sad – we have mum for 86 years and her end was quick and controlled. But some days, like today, remind of things like receiving the diagnosis that are emotional.

It doesn’t seem like a year at all. Thinking of you, and your dad, That’s a lovely photograph.
