Project 13: The manipulated identity

A couple of colleagues have made that suggestions that I create some alter ego images and I’ve taken that suggestion and explored a managed identity which is a type of alter ego I suppose. Below are images previously created by me for a variety of reasons.

I think these images pose the viewer a question. Who are they looking at?

Thoughts
The question such imagery poses is helpful, as getting viewers to think about issues such as how we project out identities is good.  However none of the photos in this post speak about my experience as a wheelchair user or my paralysis and so do not promote any specific things I want to say in the current body of work. I need to create am image or images that reference my body as damaged and corrupted by my impairment without letting the images be so strong as to dominate and mask the others in the body of work.

I will go on thinking and experimenting.
