I’ve just been experimenting with using real paint and then digitising the image and using layers in Photoshop to create an image. I don’t think the effect is very good but the process was interesting.

It is certainly interesting and exploratory with the use of paint. I still can’t create a GIF despite the links that you and others have sent to me. Maybe my brain is wired wrongly somehow!

just take any two still jpg images Catherine and upload them to a gif making site and then follow the instructions. The site I use doesn’t like Google Chrome so I use explorer to access it here: http://gifmaker.me/

Great work, Pete, as usual. I’d like to do gifs and video loops for some of my stuff but always seem to encounter problems so I give up. You don’t fancy doing a Youtube tutorial on this, do you?
