I have posted a couple more of the images showing words and statements here, but I think I have come to the end of the line experimenting with different backgrounds. I should have by enough variety to work with and so will wait to see which ones fit best on the book and whether or not I will use one in the final exhibition.
The one thing that has been pretty constant throughout the project are the statements. All of these have been selected because they reflect things that paralysed people can say to each other but cannot really say to others without it resulting in lost friends and social isolation. Indeed even in the forum that the statements were lifted from self pity can be attacked. Yet by any logical objective view paralysed people have a right to self pity. Yet they, I and we all know that you have to get beyond that to live a life. But just because the sentiments are buried does not mean that don’t exist.
