I know that if I waited long enough blurb would offer a decent discount at some point and today it did. So even though I uploaded a hardback and paperback version of Paralysis Unseen on March 10th I did not order a set then. Rather I waited until a day like today and when I could get a substantial discount and so ordered 20 of the paperback and one of the hardback. I will use the 20 paperbacks to promote the work and exhibition being held in July. The saving was over £160!
Because I uploaded the books again on March 10th rather than order more copies of the ones uploaded on March 9th (although they are the same books) I could place these new uploaded versions for sale via the Blurb site. This means that I have the books (same versions) available both on Amazon.com and Blurb.
Here is the link to the blurb sales site for the paperback book and here is the hardback. The prices don’t include any profit – just the production costs as the aim is to get the work known. (I can dream can’t I?)
PS. I also made my first sale. This came via a friend on Facebook. Still, I’m not a sales virgin anymore!
