Proud man; proud son; and a long life closing; coincidentally, yesterday, I was at the funeral of a 93 year old veteran of the Battle of Monte Cassino – medals and uniform atop the coffin & the last post played on a bugle. It made me reflect, as do these images today, on what ‘medals’ our generation has to show & take pride in. Thoughts very much with you and yours, Pete.
