Earlier in the year I submitted this work for consideration to the Shape Exhibition – see here for details. Well I received an email yesterday letting me know that my work had been selected!
The exhibition theme is “My life” in relation to disability and so the work I prepared and exhibited for the Interim show was well suited.
The Shape Open exhibition is held in two venues and at two times:
- The first exhibition is held at Yinka Shonibare’s Project space, ‘Guest Projects’ at 1 Andrews Road, London, E8 4QL and will run from the 5th to 20th of February 2016, with a private view held on February 4th from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
- The second is held at Shape Arts Gallery, 155 The Street, Westfield Stratford City Shopping Centre, E20 1EN from February 17th March 24th 2016.
Chuffed – but I have also learned something: sometimes it is worth investing in printing and mounting final images even when the exhibition context is unclear because once they are created there is a motivation to explore and secure opportunities to get them seen.
Great news Pete. Congratulations.

That’s fantastic Pete and brilliant that it’ll go to two venues, your first traveling exhibition?
